This Privacy Policy applies to the NextChapter mobile application and official website operated by NexaFlowTech Private Limited ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy describes how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal information when you use our relationship platform.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only the essential information needed to provide a safe, respectful, and dignified matchmaking service:

• Account & Contact Data: Mobile phone number (for OTP verification), full name, email address, date of birth, gender, and current city of residence.
• Profile & Relationship Details: Relationship status (Divorced, Separated, or Widowed), occupation, educational background, lifestyle preferences, profile prompts, and uploaded photos.
• Identity & Safety Verification Data: Optional Government ID proof (encrypted and processed solely for identity verification; never stored in plaintext) and photo liveness selfie data.
• App Usage & Technical Data: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, IP address, app interaction logs, and match activity.
• Communications Data: In-app text messages and audio call metadata (timestamps, call duration) conducted strictly within the app. Message contents are encrypted in transit and at rest.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used exclusively to fulfill our platform commitments:

• To verify your identity and ensure a community of genuine, mature adults.
• To generate curated daily matches tailored to your life stage and mutual preferences.
• To enable secure in-app messaging, voice calling, and icebreaker features without exposing personal contact numbers.
• To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abusive conduct, harassment, or unauthorized access.
• To comply with statutory legal requirements under the Information Technology Act, 2000, and Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023.

4. Data Storage, Encryption & Security

We enforce bank-grade security safeguards across our system infrastructure:

• Data Localization: All user data is stored strictly on secure cloud servers located within the AWS India (Mumbai) region.
• Encryption Standards: Data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.3. Sensitive data at rest (including passwords and identification data) is encrypted using AES-256 bit algorithms.
• Photo Privacy Controls: Users can enable "Blur Photos" until a mutual match is confirmed. Image URLs are access-controlled via private CDN tokens.

5. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal data to advertisers, data brokers, or third parties.

Data is shared only with trusted infrastructure providers bound by strict confidentiality agreements:

• OTP Verification Providers: Secure SMS gateways for mobile number authentication.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Amazon Web Services (AWS) India for server hosting and database storage.
• Push Notifications: Google Firebase Cloud Messaging for instant match alerts.

6. Account & Data Deletion Request (Play Store Compliance)

You have the absolute right to delete your NextChapter account and all associated data at any time:

• In-App Deletion: Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account within the NextChapter app. Account deletion is permanent and takes effect immediately.
• Web Request: If you cannot access the mobile application, you can submit a deletion request by emailing privacy@nexaflowtech.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" along with your registered mobile number.
• Data Retention Post-Deletion: Upon account deletion, all profile details, photos, match histories, and chat logs are permanently deleted from active databases within 30 days. Backup archives are purged within 60 days.

7. User Rights under DPDP Act 2023

Under Indian privacy legislation, you possess the following rights:

• Right to access a summary of personal data processed by us.
• Right to correction and updating of inaccurate profile data.
• Right to erasure of personal data.
• Right to nominate an individual to exercise rights in the event of incapacity.

8. Children's Privacy Notice

NextChapter is strictly prohibited to persons under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you suspect a minor has created an account, please contact childsafety@nexaflowtech.com immediately for swift termination.
